I am now using Windows 7 and I am falling in love with it! Its a great OS with Slideshow Backgrounds! The start bar is now quite similar to Apple's though... LOVE IT THOUGH! If any of you are using W7, tell me what you think about it!

I agree! Windows 7 Pro! Awesome OS! Fast start up time, fast shut down time, and it looks cool too :)

Yep, been using 7 since the beta days. Now my laptop has the RTM on it and the other two PC's will be upgraded soon (well as soon as I have a day where I can concentrate on full rebuilds).

Vista wasn't too bad on the two PC's, but I'll be damned if 7 isn't better.

Good to see you made the move.

Vista, what's that then? The WOW starts now? More like the wow starts with Windows 7. Premature yet again MS :P. Gotta install Windows 7 on my PC and then that's every computer I own that has Windows 7 on it :D

Been giving it a go on my laptop, seems alright. I won't put it on the other machines yet though, I don't want to lose the software on this one, my mother's very used to XP and would get annoyed if I changed it and my media centre(running XBMC) spends barely any time at the desktop for it be worth it.
Overall though, it seems okay. Boot times are far better now than they were when the beta first went public. Boots in something like 15/20 seconds on my laptop. It's kind of buggy with my laptops fingerprint reader right now, doesn't always work properly when coming out of hibernation, hopefully a new driver will fix that. I look forward to someone's college or something getting Win7, because they always buy VLKs and leave the regular serials on the side, meaning hundreds of free and valid keys available to anyone with a pen and paper.

I’ve had the RTM installed since July and love it, got it installed on all the pc’s and the media centre here.

I never had any problems with Vista and quite liked it, although after using Windows 7 I could never go back...

Im using windows xp black edition, that is 1 amazing os, i believe it was a private build, not sure who or where it was built, but the speed is amazing, its got the look anf feel of vista, but alot more speed, with the sidebar, widgets, stardock and alot more app's, but what i like the most is the software installer it comes with, its got things like Kaspersky, nod32, office 2007 blue edition, photoshop cs3, i've attached a screenshot of what the front screen looks like, anybody have any idea who actually built this?? i got it from my brother in law??

It's someone out there on one of the public trackers. It's not bad if you don't mind someone else doing the tweaking for you and comes with a bunch of drivers, so that's handy too. I personally prefer the personal tweaking by myself, but some people don't like doing such things.
