I dont see why not, the majority of demos do... it might just load a bit slow.

Try using a different disk. Also it is supposed to matter what speed you use when buring the disk but I havent looked where to change it but that may be the problem

Do you need to play DLC from DVD or is it possible to install it on a hard drive? I mean, I was only able to gain an access to a demo from GAME LIBRARY and it doesn't give me a chance to install it.

You carnt install demos, if you burn them to a DVD you have to play them from the DVD, however if you copy them to an Xbox 360 formatted USB drive you can copy them to the 360's hard drive in the memory management screen, hope that helps.

As for DLC you can not put DLC on a DVD, DLC needs to be on the hard drive or Xbox 360 formatted usb memory stick, even then it will only work on a jtagged console.

Hey guys, I just got a bunch of Dual-Layer DVDs for real cheap, is there anything I need to do when burning demos to them?

I'm honestly not sure, I guess just burn as normal and the 360 should read them.
I have never tested it with a dual layer disc before.

I've burned to Dual layers fine, a waste it is sometimes. Though it will pop up asking something, just hit yes.

I'm not going to but could you burn demos to blu ray as suggested in the title?
I'm wondering if 360s could read the format.

No the 360 is not capable of reading a Blu-Ray disc obviously. This tutorial isn't specific to burning 360 demos or else thats what the title would be. Its about burning files and folders to a CD which 360 demos just happen to be part of the total tutorial. So it covered 2 things with one tutorial.

Burned with these exact settings to a CD-R and xbox 360 just says open tray and it won't display the demo in the games library. Please help, I'm DYING to play the sonic generations demo..

If it's just a demo you're trying to run, no a modded Xbox isn't needed.
