I have a E8400 Core 2 Duo 3.0/6/1333 (45nm) its the one im useing but I can't decide if i should change it out to a Q6600 Core 2 Quad 2.4/8/1066 (65nm) I know the FSB is slower with the Q6600 but i figure should get at least 3.0 over clocking and the FSB will be about the same as the E8400 will the Quad Core be that much better the Dual Core
The reason i ask is because I have 2 E8400's at my house and 1 Q6600 and not sure if it would be worth it to change.
right now the E8400 is running stock speeds and the Q6600 i would OC

yeah go with the Q6600 if you sure your going to oc. if not stay with the E8400 unless you do alot of multitasking.

I went with the Q6600 ;) i have it OC'ed to 3.02ghz and the FSB is at 1341 I lost .2 in the windows score but that don't matter ;) the system seems be be running alot better with the Q6600 then the E8400 most likely just because its a Quad core compared to a Dual core
