Call of Duty Black Ops Title Update 5 Download (1/3 2011)

Issues Addressed:

• Matchmaking improvements to return higher quality results faster. This change includes settings that are tunable in the live environment, so tweaking may continue beyond initial release of this update.
• The in-game store now hides DLC map packs that do not match the language of the player’s disc to decrease the possibility of users downloading the incorrect language version.
• Calling in a Chopper Gunner immediately after getting shot down in a Gunship will no longer end the Chopper Gunner run prematurely. Required timing-specific button presses.
• Split screen players are now able to change camera perspectives and cycle through players as a spectator.
• Addressed an issue where the most recent match played in Zombies could overwrite the best match played on the leaderboard.
• Improved Zombies lobbies to prevent players from erroneously receiving the error “Unable to join game session” under certain circumstances.
• Addressed a number of community-discovered Zombies gameplay exploits.
• Additional security feature updates.

Gameplay Tuning:
• Additional sniper rifle tuning.

I have a great doubt, this and other updates have some benefit for people who play offline, or only for those who have an advantage playing on live?

for those who play offline changes anything or not?

 

changes affect offline consoles aswell as online consoles

sorry, I did not understand? I just wondered if you upgrade the console off-line is the result? because I did not play on live!
I updated the five updates this game, everything went well but I do not see significant results in this
compensates or not to update offline?

after instaling this update to my x360 i got nothing, no quick scoping, no one shoot kill with snipers it's still requires 3 shoots to kill a guy. WTF? Am I the only one who face with these problems? REPLY PLEASE

Turns out that i missed out on an additional zero in the folder name!

 

Has any one got the lastest update cos i cant get on live right now and want to see whats changed.

Ty can i inject it using a usb cos i have a xbox slim and can plug my hdd to the pc.


NM i just put the old one on a usb then overwrited it.

 

I put the content/000000000000000/41560855/000B0000 on my USB key but Xbox dont want to detect the file

Did you transfer the file using a device explorer like usbxtaf? You may have to clear the cache(deletes all updates) on the hard drive for this update to be detected

 

I could clear the cache of my Hard drive ? But I've install the Update on USB Key. Why clear the cache of the hard drive could be detect the update ?

My Xbox 360 can read now, i Forgot a 0 but Black ops don't read the file whereas I succes to copy the file update on the HDD...

Why Black ops don't recognize the file ?

 

Sorry for the triple post but I just thought of something: maybe it not work for me because I have the game in French and it can be (and probably) the update in English, I need a link to download the update in French if possible, thank you in advance and again sorry for the triple post

 

Do what i did put the update from xbox to usb stick then overwrite it with the new one on the pc.

 

In fact, the game doesn't detect The classics map from World at War and the first strike map pack and i'm affaid, that if i Download Escalation in a Video game store, the game doesn't dtect him...

Why ?
