For further reassurance to the question, this does not flash your disc drive if you're updating from 13604 to this dashboard.

It literally took me 5 minutes to flash my Xbox, it doesn't take mass knowledge to know how to do this so you're only calling yourself stupid. I put the disc in,rebooted,and i didnt get a pop up

Use a USB.

or, make sure you BURNT the $System update folder to the disc.

After updating there is no way back, downgrading isn't possible.

 

When the official comes out will i be able to get into XBOX Live and Will we still get updates

 

Maybe you should read the red text at the top? It's there for a reason and pretty informative.

 

Did anyone notice that 135XX series broke beta applications? Kinect Viewer, Voice Collection, Speech Collection ETC don't work, they say 'Cannot launch'.
