I get the feeling that this is a UK-based forum yet, there's "Help Center" instead of "Help Centre" (Computer and Gadget Help Centre / Console Help Centre). Hm? Center = US Centre = UK Thanks.
You are well informed However on a serious note i believe it had something to do with search engine optimisation. We are a UK based forum, i'm from Yorkshire and Nimrod is from London. We do however get 3x more traffic from America than we do the UK, which is not really surprising when you think how large America is.
Also a big reason we use Center over Centre is because were technology based, and thanks to things like Media Center, even though were British the spelling Center is just used way more in the field. And as Insanenutter said, Search engine optimization plays a part, if our biggest audience searches Center, there is no point us having Centre
"You are well informed" Yeah, my English is from UK so kinda annoys me to see "center" / "movie" / "theater" / "color" instead of "centre" / "film" / "theatre" / "colour", but for that reason, it's fine, I won't contradict anything.
