Xbox 360 Metro Dashboard (Twist Control) 2.0.14696.0 Beta with Avatars Download

It doesn't take 3 - 5 days. I've gotten in 20 minutes after filling it out before (XGD3 preview update).

 

I just received a Microsoft email about the Xbox 360 changes but went booting it up and still no new dashboard update was available. :-/ Tomorrow then?

somebody help me, i'v flash my xbox to lt+2.0, play ap2.5 game also can, suddenly, can't play all type of games, neither ap2.5 games/xgd3/backup/pireted games anymore.. anyone, help me? what should i do? am i supposed to flash it back or something, been suffering not in touch with XBOX!!!

I just got prompted to update at about 7-7:30pm EST. I'm in Canada. Now just need Microsoft to release the offline update. I have some offline 360's that don't connect to the internet.

 

Aww no way! I'm in Canada too and neither me or me friends have been offered the update yet. To be fair, I did download the beta off here, so I'm wondering if thats delaying my update because I can't connect to live. Still though, I want that damn update haha

I don't even think a post would do us any good - i have the most recent update of the beta, and even though the final product has been released, I still can't get on xbox live. I think we're just going to have to be patient on this one and get it when we get it.

I'm assuming you just got prompted when you turned on your system and were connected to your network right?

 

Be patient, it takes a while to push out to millions of Xbox Live users at once.

 

That's true. 35 Million people are waiting for this upgrade and want it just as badly as we do.
But couldn't they just post it on the xbox upgrade site so those of us who know about could update on our own?

 

I had actually installed the 2.0.14696.0 update last night thinking it was final, before I went to bed. Then learned when I woke up that 2.0.14699.0 was the newest dashboard. After I couldn't connect online. Then the delays with the dashboard getting released. I just kept checking online to see when it was coming out. At about 5pm I started to power up my 360 every hour to see if I would get the update. Then finally at around 7-7:30 EST I got prompted to download 2.0.14699.0. Using the new Netflix App right now.
