The sony liveview had some pretty bad reviews and also had some connection issues but after firmware updates this little gem works a treat.

    sony-liveview3.jpg

    It can ....

    Show facebook statuses and notifications
    Show tweets and @ replys
    Show texts
Emails ( with separate plugin )
    Music controls
Display whether you are receiving a phone call
Your location ( with separate plugin )
how far you have been jogging ( with separate plugin )
    A viewfinder ( with separate plugin )
Weather ( with separate plugin )
And there are also loads more plugins on the market.

    Pros:
    Easy access to phone content
    Light
Looks good ( if you buy a new watch strap off ebay or somewhere (3 quid rubber one))
Good for when you are on your bike or doing other sports
    CHEAP
You CAN use normal 18mm watch straps with it

    Cons:
Bit of a faf to set up
The watch strap it came with is crap

£70 appears a lot for this!

If i did'nt have a smart phone i could see this been useful, or maybe if i was in to running or something.

    Good find however (Y)

The idea is it is for people who have smart phones you dont put a sim in it u bluetooth it to your android phone and say if you get a text on you phone it gets pushed via bluetooth to the liveview

Sounds like it could be useful for people who cant always get easy access to there phone, been trying to think of some way i could make use of this but sadly cant!

Still if something like that works for you its a great deal, nice find.
