Hello guys, just subscribed to the forum! I wanted to share some GameCube demo stuff in the Download Center, like Interactive Multi Game Demo Discs. As I noticed, files must be uploaded to FTP. I only have a very slow 3G connection and I took weeks to upload them on MediaFire, still I've not finished to upload some of them. I think I won't be able to upload them on FTP too. Most of them are bigger than 1 GB, so I splitted and uploaded all of them in 50 MB parts. Can I post in the Download Center the MediaFire links? After that, someone can upload them on the FTP, if it is necessary.

What i can do is log on to the Digiex server via Remote Desktop and download the files directly from Mediafire to Digiex.

As you say the files are all in 50mb parts that's going to be a lot of files to download, if each is 1gb. Is there any way i can que all the files up or just download multiple files at once? I guess that would involve paying for a Mediafire account?

I have nothing against you posting them, i would just like to get them on the Digiex server. We recently had a member who got his account suspended, so we were left with loads of downloads that were just broken links, meaning we had to spend time finding them out and removing all the broken threads.

How many gigabytes of stuff are we talking about?

MediaFire lets you download 10 files at the same time, also you can que them with JDownloader, a download management tool that supports all file hosting websites. Until now, I've uploaded 14 GB.

Well, all I can say is download them asap as files for free users no longer stay hosted permanently and this is somewhat rare and collectible to have.

By the way, if I were to burn what you have to a Mini-DVD and play it on my NGC would it work? I've never played demos on a Gamecube.

    Actually, MediaFire doesn't delete files.

They should work, if the console isn't region-locked. I tried them on Wii and all of them work.

So, you pay for your MediaFire account? That's great! Just post the links here and no need to worry about whenever they're going to go offline.

Nope, MediaFire hosts Free account files permanently, Premium lets you upload files larger than 200 MB.

I tried to create a new thread in Download Center with the links, but it didn't have accepted them, even here.

    Not any more they don't.

Look up "Long Term Usage" here https://www.mediafire.com/select_account_type.php#step-1 and you'll see it's not permanent.

So, you know, it's just a matter of time (days) before the files are deleted from their server.

I have some little files hosted for about a year and downloaded only 3 times and they are still online... anyway, I'm not allowed to post those links.

I think you can post the links now because you have 5 posts.

Thats to stop spam, we have a problem with spam bots flooding the download center to links on one click file hosting websites. It will be randomly disabled once you have between 7-10 posts, so if you reply to a couple of other topics your posts will no longer be moderated by the anti spam system.

Any problems once you have 10+ posts send me a message and ill look in to it for you.
