A mock-up of the Windows 8 Blue update, if only, looks so much nicer than Windows 8 currently does.

I think that looks cool. I always wanted to try windows 8 just to see if its as bad as everyone says for myself.

I have had virtually no issues at all with Windows 8. My system starts up faster, the tile interface is smooth and easily navigable, and the desktop from Windows 7 is fully intact, minus the start button (which is accessed by moving your mouse to the bottom-right hand side of your screen).

The start button isn't a problem, you can enable it without any program... but i did'nt miss the start button at all, just needed to get used to.

Still looks horrible, but that's because i hate the Windows 8 layout in general. But it is better than the actual Windows 8.

Any OS out there is capable of getting viruses, yet Windows is really the only OS where it's complained about. I currently am on Windows 7 without antivirus as I already know I don't have to worry about getting a virus.

I don't understand why people are hating on windows 8 so much. I borrowed my brother laptop with it on it and i liked it. I mean its hard to get used to not having a start button, but a quick google search and i found a great mod for one.

I do think the windows store is stupid and skype is really ugly on it, but the Metro style is really smooth.

    All in all i give it a 8/10 while windows 7 has a 10/10.

Viruses / Spyware is a pretty bad excuse for not using Windows...

I cant remember the last time i last had any viruses / spyware on my PC, unless your running random keygens / cracked apps from the piratebay or something then its pretty hard to get infected with anything. Its all down to the person using the PC, not windows its self.

Just be careful what you are installing and use trusted sources, if i really want to run something im unsure about i have an old Windows XP VM.

Also think about when an app requests admin rights, does it really need them? if your keygen wants admin rights than chances are it wants to do something nasty to your pc.

Its really not that hard to avoid getting anything nasty on a windows based pc, my parents PC has gone years without getting anything too...

I do think Windows 8 is pretty rubbish out the box personally, from a user experience point of view. However with Start 8 and Modern Mix it can be made to work pretty well.

The big selling point of Windows 8 for end users has been the start screen and the "modern apps", tbh most of these are usless and are terrable been forced to run full screen on huge monitors.

My Windows 8 with Start 8 and Modern Mix, i find the start menu way more convenient, especially for ending up at places like the control panel, putting the system to sleep and so on. Plus i can enjoy all the Windows 8 Xbox games without them been full screen now.

It might not be how Microsoft intended Windows 8 to be used, however it certainly works for me.
