[IMG]According to the user Drift0r on Youtube, he has inside information from an extremely reliable source. Not speaking to the source ourselves, all we can do is speculate about the information Drift0r has received.

Instantly as the video starts playing, which can be found at the bottom of this article, he talks about how he knows the release date, the title, and gameplay information regarding single player and multiplayer.

The next call of duty, which is known as "Call of Duty: Ghosts (AKA MW4)" was previously known as "Call of Duty: Phantoms". Not titled Modern Warfare 4, but is branching out from the series, Ghosts starts to make its own series, doing it's own thing.

According to Drift0r, Call of Duty: Ghosts will be announced on May 1st. However he says it could be sometime within the whole first week of May, and if history repeats itself, this one will be launched by Infinity Ward. Announcing it around May 1st seems somewhat accurate. It will give us a month to talk about it and have the world premier at E3 which takes place June 11th until the 13th.

Campaign takes place in the future using current generation weaponry. A major plot event, taken in the future, causes the characters to use current generation weapons. Which leads us to believe that some type of genocide or apocalypse may have taken place. A game that takes place in the future that will be developed by Infinity Ward makes sense, as some of you may know they won the rights in court for all futuristic games in the lawsuit with Activision. For those who don't know, Activision is a publisher which was founded in 1979 and since then has published a massive list of games, most well known for the Call of Duty series.

An interesting feature Drift0r talks about is how the loading screens are now dynamic. By that he means that you may repel into the map from a chopper, or breach a building which build some background story for the maps without completing single player.

Another key feature is that player movement will be changed up a bit. Unsure if dolphin diving is still in the game, Drift0r talks about an animation where you dash into a slide, and as if that isn't cool enough... You can shoot while doing it. It would be very unlikely that the dolphin dive and this new move would be in the game, as they are both so similar, but this new move sounds like it would be a nice change of pace.

Prone and crouching are also supposedly altered. Not much information about those two positions are revealed except that while in prone you will be able to roll side to side. You will also now be able to peak around corners as we have seen before on the PC versions of CoD.

Destructive environments was a huge point that Drift0r talks about in the video. Mentioning in multiplayer it seems problematic for full scale buildings to be destroyed, he hints that maybe something smaller such as water from fire hydrants could somehow alter the players point of view. Probably not as destructive as you would hope for, this would be a huge breakthrough in the Call of Duty series.

The only other information he mentions in the video is that Spec-Ops is completely removed. According to him, he doesn't know much about it. All he knows is that there will be a completely new "mini-game". If they do remove Spec-Ops, a new mini game would be a must as Spec-Ops and Zombies have been such huge parts of the most recently Call of Duty games.

Again, these are all rumours until a studio announces something, but hopefully this will be somewhat accurate information.

Just "Warfighter" was a god awful title but "Ghosts"? It completely lacks any originality and creativity.

Am i only one hoping call of duty does not carry on to next gen i mean every year its the same game and same multiplayer all they do is rename perks and shuffle them around or create a new create a class which is not game changing i personally hope it dies off and they focus on a new IP

Activision has announced that they'll be releasing Call of Duty on the next-gen and still very likely on the current-gen too. People like it so Activision continues to publish it yearly.

I haven't found any downsides of CoD's gameplay, it plays flawlessly but I do wish they'd use blood (like in KillZone) instead of blood spray that appears in a split second.

As long as people keep purchasing CoD games the way they are, they really don't care if they barely switch up the gameplay or even use the same engine for many, many years. These games have absolutely no originality anymore. And for some reason, people thrive off it. Being spawn killed is a constant issue, maps are extremely small, it plays the exact same as it has for years, yet people will complain about other games for it playing exactly the same from a first release to a second title in a franchise.

Well, i like COD games. Played all of them.Started with the first COD on PC.

Sometimes i start playing the game in the evening & then suddenly to find out that it's morning again.
    Once i start playing i can't stop...

The game series that really disappointed me is Halo. Halo 2 had the perfect multiplayer, fast pased ( & still playing it on XLink Kai from time to time ).
But ever since Halo 3 i don't like the multiplayer anymore. It feels so stiff, not fast pased.
    Maybe it's because Halo 2 was 60fps and the other Halo's are 30fps ??? I don know...

But i still like the Single player experience & Firefight mode.
