2014 for gaming in general is looking to be one of the best years to come. Wii U Exclusives: - Super Smash Bros. 4 - Mario Kart 8 - Xenoblade 2 - Bayonetta 2 - Shin Megami X Tensei 4 - The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors - Unannounced Game Like Bayonetta 2.. Vanquish 2? (it's a rumour by a French dev) PlayStation 4 & Xbox One: - Watch Dogs (also available on Wii U) - Titanfall - Sunset Overdrive - Quantum Break - Strider - The Evil Within - Kingdom Hearts 3 - Mirrors Edge 2 - Uncharted 4 - Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (Part 1) - Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain (Part 2) To be honest, I'm more hyped for the games that will be coming out for the Wii U because they're not the kind of thing you'd see typically on a console nowadays, but still I can't deny that I want to play Mirrors Edge 2, Titanfall, Strider, Uncharted 4, Watch Dogs and others. I'll wait till Microsoft and Sony release their Slim models because the first-gen models don't really offer anything special that a Slim would, however, if we go from PS3 60GB to PS3 Slim then we have the loss of PS2-BC & Linux for a slimmer and quieter console.
Happy new year everyone!! 2014 will indeed be a good gaming year with Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros on the corner! I've played Xbox One for several hours now, and I too don't see such a bright 2014 for both 'next-gen' consoles. Well, things might change!
Bayonetta 2 Mario Kart 8 Super Smash Bros 4 All the games i want on the Wii-U appear to be out this year, it will be nice to have the first ever HD version of Mario Kart and Smash Bros's too. I'm not in any rush, however might possibly have to think about getting one at some point.
Mario Kart 8 in HD looks terrific but if you've played Sonic Racing Transformed it sort of looks like they've borrowed some elements from Sonic's racing game.
