For a start I already told you the the PSX games need to be EBOOTs to run from the PSP. ISO's are for PSP games.
I'm not sure why you are finding it so difficult. InsaneNutter gave a step by step guide, I followed it and it only took about 20 minutes and that was mainly reading.

Before you do anything with PSP games you need to follow the guide on the previous page.
Confirm you are on CFW with a picture on here and then we can help you further.
You may not be able to permanently install CFW which means you will have to run the CFW file everytime you turn your PSP off.

i am following it exactly. i have ever since i seen this. and the eboots arent working. if they were i wouldnt be needing the help. so im following other leads.

and btb i gave the info off of my screenshot. i aint stupid. this stuff is new to me. and things take me awhile longer than others when stuff goes wrong.

    this is my pspident

ive done everything exactly like he says. ive even formatted and the game files still say corrupted data. even the gpSP aint working. it said to put the emu in game. idk what to do. feeling hopeless.

i even switched to a different iso of the game i was trying to use. put the game in ISO folder in root. and it still is showing corrupted data. omg. this is pointless. :/ wish i had a place to download the firmware with everything in it. all plugins and emulators installed and no work for me. except picking games. ik thatll never happen. but still its my dream. the dmn ds2 didnt take me this long to solve. so idk what the hell is going on.

Maybe you have a bad ISO? have you ripped a game you own to an ISO and tried that?

It really shouldn't be that hard to copy an ISOe to the memory stick and play it, which makes me think what ever game you have obtained could be corrupted.

Hello! Just wondering how safe and what are the chances that I might brick my PSP... I want to unlock my brother's PSP and seeing as it's not mine I want to make sure.

Its very unlikely you will brick your PSP, just be careful what you do after hacking it.

For example only run homebrew from trusted sources, i cant see you having any problems to be honest.

Hey Guys. I’m looking to get into handhelds. I have never had a handheld gaming device before. I was looking at the new slim PS vita and the old one but many say the old version is better. IF I want to be able to play old PSP games which is better? I have a few ISO’s for old games I want to play but I don’t think it will work if the PSP is not hacked. I mainly want Naruto’s games and since no PS Vita Naruto games have come out I’m screwed. Is it better to get a PSP 2000-3000 or a PS Vita. I know PS Vita will have longer longevity at this point and better games in the future.

In the end im think PSP 3001 , is the 2000 model better or 3001 ? Also can this guide be applied to a PSP I will buy ? I contacted one seller and he said its on 6.60 so is that fine ? If so i would like to purchase it now.

This guide will work with all PSP's released, the hack can only be made permanent on some early models though. However all that basically means if the hack cant be made permanent you just need to run an app on the PSP if you ever fully power it off.

When it comes to the Vita i dont really know the best to buy, i believe every so often an exploit is released for a downloadable game that enables PSP homebrew on the Vita, then its a race to download the PSP game before Sony remove it from the store.

For PSP hacking i would just get a PSP, you can get one pretty cheap now and probably still have enough money to get a Vita if you really want one.

Oh my, I'm glad to see the PSP homebrew scene is still going :') Oh my, I've been away from it for far too long. I remember being one of the first to get a 100x on OFW 6.60 down to 1.50 OFW or CFW and any version in between using some common sense and the available tools that was already there lol. It's been too long since I last visited dashhacks forum. I think I still have all the OFW and CFW EBOOT.PBP files, like the whole damn lot haha, so if theres one you need, holla on me and I'm your man :D I'll get it up online for you to download :) and I have a few various other bits and pieces like NitePR and HellCats Flasher, I think I still have ChickHEN-R2 :') I always thought that was a bizarre name lmao.

But it really is great to still see it thriving :)

That's about £50 over here, which i would say is a fair price for a PSP.

I got a 100x at the UK launch on 1.52, upgraded it to 2.00 for the web browser, then i eventually downgraded it to 1.50 to enjoy homebrew.

Back then when we had to use Devhook to emulate higher firmwares to play newer games, along with using newer features on the PSP.

I got the 3001 and It will be on 6.60. Is the files linked in the op the latest ? The (66PRO -C2) ?

I see ont hier site they have the c2 but they also have a fix (6.60 PRO-C fix 3 (6.60 PRO-C2 has a bug that prevents PSN PSX games from being played at all!).)

Do i just flash the fix as if flashing c2 or flash c2 first ?

The C2 in the post should be the latest version, flash that and you are good to go.
