How to use:

You will need one DS with a flashcard to distribute this event, simply set the date on the DS been used to distribute the event to the date mentioned above. You will then need another DS or 3DS playing the Pokemon game you wish to receive the event Pokemon on.

On the DS receiving the Pokemon you can receive the event by selecting Mystery Gift, then Receive Gift on the main menu.

Did you find this through google, or did someone contribute it?
I'm pretty sure, at least in the case for this EUR Arceus and a few others, that the roms you'd find through google are legitimate. Regardless, I usually like to verify legitimacy from the source since DS distro hacking tools exist.

 

This is probably one of the many distro roms I sent in. Which were given to me by "A" after I expressed interest in them on Project Pokemon.

 

Yeah, me and "A" were recently talking about some of the roms available on the internet, and I think it was agreed that it's safe to assume roms like the EUR Arceus and Shaymin, and the US GameStop Deoxys are likely to be legitimate due to being around before any other roms or distro hacking tools.

I just prefer to be 100% positive. It's better than nothing for now though, because I have no idea when I can find someone with the EUR set to dump the roms. I talked a bit with Soniktts in private, but I don't think getting the tools needed for dumping the roms is a priority interest for him. Which is totally understandable, since there's no obligation to do it at all. It's just my wishful thinking.

 

That is correct, when i messaged "A" they preferred not to be named in relation to this, however were happy to tell the story of how the roms were found over the years, long before hacking tools existed.

With that in mind I posted the post was made as is, more then happy to add your name though as if it wasn't for your PM / interest in this then this and the distributions to come wouldn't be easily accessible to all.

That was my thinking too, i'm pretty positive based on the information and circumstances. Im hoping for the US roms we have, if your source comes through they can at least be compared to them so we can be 100% sure for the US distributions at least.

As you say though better than nothing for now.

 

Which reminds me, did I send you my Shiny Beast distro rom along with the Keldeo and Celebi? I know I dumped all three of my DS carts, but I can't remember if I sent you the Shiny Beast rom since you had it already. If I did, or need to, you can compare it with the other rom you've had for a few years, unless you already had that source verified years ago.

Also, I'm hoping to hear from my contact soon. I messaged him again on Sunday or Monday, but still haven't heard back. As I said before, I was hoping for the roms by tomorrow, but I don't think that will happen. I'm not sure how busy he is, so I don't want to pester him, but if I don't hear back by next Friday I'll message him again to see what's up. I'm not sure how high of an interest he has in dumping the roms either, so hopefully he follows through and attempts to dump them like he said he would.

Regardless, worst case scenario and he doesn't dump the roms, I have a guy on ProjectPokemon that told me he has all the US carts in transit to be delivered and he'd dump the roms if I needed. So if he's sincere, I'm pretty sure we'll get the US roms soon either way.

 

I still haven't yet heard back from my contact that I've been talking about for a couple weeks, but my "Plan B" guy I mentioned from ProjectPokemon just messaged me and said his carts all came in the mail today. He doesn't have 3DS CFW or homebrew, but I'm going to try to help him set up with soundhax since a homebrew channel should be enough for Decrypt9 to dump the roms. He has 14/16 US carts, just missing the Jirachi/Shiny Pichu and the Shiny Sinnoh Trio. If this guy gets it all through before I hear back from my other contact, I still hope to get the missing two US roms from my first contact regardless, as well as his two EU carts.

Turns out Decrypt9 doesn't work with just homebrew, you need CFW. He doesn't seem to want to risk installing CFW, so unless I can convince him that it's overall a safe process, we'll have to resort to the WEP WiFi method nonsense. However, he did go ahead and buy the two carts he was missing after I told him he didn't have them, so that's good news.

Also, still no reply from my original contact. I'll probably message him today or tomorrow and see what's up.

 

Man, I made a post saying that Decrypt9 needs arm9 to run and then I deleted it when I found out that you actually could run it through HBL by chain-loading exploits because I thought that you already knew about that, heh.

Once it's booted into Decrypt9 I have no reason to believe that you wouldn't be able to just dump game cards directly there, without needing to do any kind of downgrading or messing with cfw.

I don't believe DSi and above allow hot-swapping carts, so that only works on OG DS/Lite.

 

Ok yeah I have a flash cart for DS and a a phat DS so I should be able to do it. I'm going full force on trying to get aura mew, and once we either give up or get that I'm going to try this tutorial stuff and see if I can get it dumped. I'll keep you guys updated.

 

Ok so I am trying to figure this out. I'm not able to connect my fat DS to my router, so like you said I think it's incompatible with the security settings at the moment. Also on my fat DS when I try to change or enter the system settings it freezes up. Weird.

1) Wireless Router
So it appears that the problem that I am facing is that I need to find some way to connect my fat DS to the internet. The wireless network I use for Wi-Fi I don't have access to alter or change the settings at the moment. I'm not the one paying for it. So it's likely that this option is out of the window at least for now.

2) Nintendo Wifi USB Connector
I actually still have one of these things. I was thinking that I could somehow get this to work on my computer, I should be able to connect to the internet. The problem is though however, when I try to install the latest drivers (taken off of the nintendo website) I go through the setup process and I get an error message at the very end of the process when the green bar is at the very end. "Please insert the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector into your computer's USB port." Despite me having the thing in a USB port and it showing up in device manager.

3) Tethering
I was researching this method. But I can't find a way and don't know enough about this method. If there's a way for my computer or phone to be set up as a mobile hotspot with WPA security that I can connect my fat DS to? I know that on my phone I can create a mobile hotspot, but I'm not able to set the security setting as WPA or anything at all or can change the setting apparently? I have a android

4) Downgrading the firmware on my 3ds
Since apparently I can't do the exploit is downgrading an option? I can't find a way to do it or know how.

5) find an exploit for my current firmware. I don't think there's a way to do it yet?
