Welcome, I also work in IT and love console modding. It was the Xbox Classic that got me in to that all those years ago. The Xbox by far had the best homebrew scene of any console to date.
Yes, thats true. I loved the xbox classic homebrew community back in the days. There was a 3D Pong homebrew named Xlime, I loved this game. xD https://www.gamebrew.org/wiki/XLime_XBOX I have a XBox 360 and a XBox One X too now but the original XBox is still my favourite console. That's a very nice collection, floor to ceiling of Xbox games! I do plan to try buy a few more Xbox Classic games at some point, even more so now some of them work in the Xbox One.
