    This Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia save game is ready to transfer the following Pokemon to Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold or Soul Silver (Any of the GEN 4 games).


    • Manaphy's Egg
    • Riolu (Kyle's)
    • Darkrai (Almia's)

    This save game also includes all the Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia downloadable missions, which can no longer be downloaded.

    Special Missions
    Recover the Manaphy Egg!
    Rescue Kidnapped Riolu!
    Liberate the Tower!


    Extra Missions
    Dialga in Hia Valley!?
    Palkia in Haruba Desert!?
    For the Bride and Shaymin!


    Note: This save game has been tested with the US and European English versions of Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia, i'm not sure if it will work with other language versions of the game.

    Just wanted to confirm that the egg can indeed be sent to any Gen. IV game (and not just Diamond/Pearl), it worked for Platinum and HeartGold even though they weren't out yet when SoA (and the events) were released.
    However, the Riolu and Darkrai don't seem to be compatible with HG/SS, only D/P/Pt. I was able to receive them in Platinum, but whenever I try with HeartGold, I see the Mystery Gift, but when I press A to receive, it instantly says "Your request has been turned down" and I can't download it.

    It doesn't seem like there is a limit to how many Manaphy Eggs you can receive per Gen. IV save file here either.

    if the English game can't distribute to a JPN game then yes, i dont think it hurts either way if you have a JPN save.

    Yes it works with English games, but they don't show the Players name...

    can't Upload it because...
    The following error occurred

    Simply zip the save file and you will be allowed to upload it. You can do this on Windows without any 3rd party application:

    Hey I just came across this thread,

    I'm having some issues trying to load this save onto a cart. I used checkpoint on my 3DS after downloading the save file and naming it the same as an existing save I ripped from the cart, but now it's giving me the classic "data cannot be read" error. Is there something specific for this game I need to do to load custom save files?

    I took a look at the cart through GM9 and it looks like it doesn't have a .sav file at all, is this normal?

    That was the issue, though, it wouldn't let me. It just throws the "Data could not be read" error and forces you to turn off the game.

    Alright, I ran it through that editor you shared, set it to raw save and it changed it to 512 KiB. Must have accidentally nuked the original save when I tried to do the upload the first time and then grabbed an empty file on the backup.

    Ok progress.

    I was able to start a new game finally after trying and unsuccessfully loading the save. (Save file corrupted error message) and got a fresh dump with a 256KiB size.

    Tried to do the change from NO$GBA to raw sav of the same size and after loading it I got the same message.

    Trying to load the save file as it is in the link does not work and starts to cause the Data Could Not be Read issues again.

    Tried to load the fresh save dump back in and I'm still getting the same Data Could Not be Read issues.
