    Hi, I'm running VMWare Workstation 6.5 and if you set the VM to be Linux and Unbuntu (32-bit) then the network adapter should be recognised - if it's set to NAT should work fine. Did you build this image? If so what is the root password? BTW CTRL-ALT-T gives you a terminal window Cheers, Al
