Yeah it would have to be because with a digital signal it either works or doesn't work, unlike with analog signal. The weird thing is that it works fine without the harddrive on it (but I do need the harddrive). So I did some searching around the net and they say if you power up the 360 while...- BigPete7978

NXE Preview Dashboard [Exclusive Early Download]
Please will someone help me here. I got it to update no problem. My 360 Arcade (w/Halo HD) is connected via HDMI to my HDTV. When I power it on w/ the HD attached there is no audio at all for anything. Then when I take off the HD the audio works fine it seems. Once again when reattached the...- BigPete7978
