    Just wanted to stop in and say thank you for this guide. I had some trouble initially only to find out that it was because I wasn't using a direct connection (was using SATA to USB). Anyway, just thought I'd update to let people know that the WD3200BEVT (I got mine off eBay for cheaper though)...
