Hack a 250gb, 320gb or 500gb Sata harddrive to work in the Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Slim

Done deal. I got everything in the hacked drive, xbox emulator and content and all whoo hoo. Thanks rick550, but my method works. If you right click and add new folder, make that folder the name of the folder you'd like to inject then it will work.

This happened to me. I found that thinkering with the BIOS helped. I have an Asus P8Z 68M Pro mother board and this was the successful settings I used that got hddhackr to work: In Advanced mode for Sata COnfiguration, set the following: Sata Mode: IDE S-Ata Controller 0: Compatible S-Ata...

My method didn't work the way I'd like it to have, I got the Contents folder successfully injected but I couldn't find the rogue Content folder that was lost in the abyss that is my 250 gb hard drive. Consequently as I expected, the rogue Content folder inhabited 3 gbs of space in the hard...

Hack a 250gb, 320gb or 500gb Sata harddrive to work in the Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Slim

Ok so I tried this: I went to my parition 3, right clicked and selected add folder. Then I created a folder named mindex. Then I right clicked on my partition 3 and clicked insert folder, selected the mindex folder on my PC and injected. Lo and behold, there it is two mindex, the second...

Hack a 250gb, 320gb or 500gb Sata harddrive to work in the Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Slim

No it doesn't exist basically, like not there. I'm re-injecting the files...who knows maybe that will work. Also I've tried injecting the other folders within the original partition 3 like: mindex But it doesn't show either. I'm sure its in there but something didn't happen right.

Hey I'm having trouble with moving my original 360 hard drive data to my new hacked 360 250 gb hard drive. When I run the xplorer360 for 250 gb, I click Drive> Open > Hard drive or Memcard Then I go to my partition 3, right click and select insert folder. Then I select my Content Folder on my...

SUCCESS!!! Finally it played halo whoo hoo. DIY in your face. It turns out the problem was in my xbox partition 2 back up. Apparently it was a bad backup. When I backed up another copy that one worked flawlessly. I'm relieved, this took far too long. Thanks rick550 you were great help!!!!! I...

I reformatted in the 360, then recreated the partitions and then finally used the xplorer360 version YOU supplied me with and it still didn't work. I asked this question earlier: But I noticed that after restoring partition 2, it disappeared from the list of partitions of the connected hard...

Hack a 250gb, 320gb or 500gb Sata harddrive to work in the Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Slim

Did it. I downloaded the xplorer360 you gave me. I had to reflash my hard drive because the last attempt I made screwed it up. (I think I used the 250 gb xplorer 360 to see what would happen). In any case, I had to restore to my UNDO.BIN, reflash to HDDSS.BIN and then restart the computer to...
