    Hah, it was really silly. I didn't actually read the prompts when I ran PROUPDATE, I didn't actually know they were prompts, so I pressed R to Exit, rather than X to install.... Noober is my name and not paying attention is my game. :P

    I have run PROUPDATE and I did install the correct version, I just booted up my PSP to double check. I can try running the PROUPDATE again and then trying the FASTRECOVERY again.

    I have a PSP 3003 update 6.61. Every time I try to run Fast Recovery, my screen goes black for 5 seconds and then my PSP shuts down. I'm new to all of this.
