UPDATE: If anyone finds themselves in the same position as I was just go ahead and do it. It works.
Also, I was able to use FreeDOS (via rufus) with no issues whatsoever.

So the emu comes installed by default in every *ORIGINAL* Microsoft HDD? So not having it could potentially alert Microsoft of something weird about the hdd, somehow flagging the console... Am I right?

My second question is: Do I HAVE to transfer the XBOX 1 emulator? Couldn't I just re download it from live or something? Is it a one time thing...
