Why dont you try to re-update the console by plugging in the flashdrive (make sure it's FAT32 formatted) to the console while it is turned off then turning it on. Ok. Thank you very much Dark Scyth. You just provided me with the confirmatin that puts my mind at ease. :)- son goku

It is certainly not bricked. I just updated to the latest dashboard to uncripple my HDD, and indeed it it uncrippled my HDD. I just installed a game off my hdd after I finished the update and the installation was sucessful and I am able to play games off my hdd again. But, is it just me that I...- son goku
