I'm using Luma v13.2.1 and Checkpoint 3188 (3.7.4)
just updated checkpoint to 3.11.0 and now I'm consistently no longer getting the first error anymore, just the "save data is corrupted" error.
This is happening both on my dump from the cart as well as Nutty's save.
I actually got something different after some retries.
After some percussive maintenance, I was able to get it to actually successfully load the save and get past the "Data could not be read error" and get to at least "this save file is corrupted" again.

I was able to start a new game finally after trying and unsuccessfully loading the save. (Save file corrupted error message) and got a fresh dump with a 256KiB size.
Tried to do the change from NO$GBA to raw sav of the same size and after loading it I got the same message...
That was the issue, though, it wouldn't let me. It just throws the "Data could not be read" error and forces you to turn off the game.
Alright, I ran it through that editor you shared, set it to raw save and it changed it to 512 KiB. Must have accidentally nuked the original save when I tried...
I took a look at the cart through GM9 and it looks like it doesn't have a .sav file at all, is this normal?
