(most people get angry when I say things like this) I hope for the most part this isn't like the first Assassins Creed. For the most part I thought Assassins Creed was decent until I had to climb all of those buildings and save citizens over and over. The story of the first one was alright, I would have liked it more if it didn't have the futuristic BS in it and just was when you played as the Assassin. So if they can atleast get rid of that repetitive gameplay, as far as saving citizens and climbing buildings I think Assassins Creed 2 would probably be pretty good.

My brother liked the first one enough to get all 1000 achievement points in it, I think it’s one of them games you will either love or hate. It looked good when he was playing it but its one of them games that would get boring very quickly for me, I just don’t have the attention span to play a lot of games through anymore.
I agree with some of the points that you've made. The game was way to repetitive when it came to missions and fighting. Fighting controls where so limited and repetitive that my controller squeaked when I pressed certain buttons, but thankfully it's stopped doing that now. Other than the repetition it was a decent game. It's got awesome graphics but more importantly I liked the story, or at least what is revealed to you in the game. I'm considering getting the second one just to see what happens next because I liked the scences outside of the machine. Take out the excessive repetition and expand on the real world scenes and it'll be great. I only got them because it's one of the few games where you can realistically get all the points, none of that carry a garden gnome through half the game rubbish. I think you would get bored of it but if you want a melee based game it's a good place to start, or just stick with Smash Brothers. If you get bored of games easily go back and play your old favourites, or play something you wouldn't normally play because if you stick to a certain type of game for so long you're bound to get bored of it eventually.
