I was browsing around on the Fileplanet website looking for a patch when I noticed there was a beta for Red Faction Guerrilla on the Xbox 360. On the main page it stated all the keys were taken, however I clicked on the link anyway which redirected me to Red Faction on FilePlanet - Europe and allowed me to signup for the beta. After I had answered a few questions about what consoles and games i owned it gave me a key without been a Fileplanet subscriber! I was thinking before it gives me a key it’s going to ask me to pay but sure enough it didn’t I was able to redeem the key on my 360 with no problems The main menu In the Lobby Online Play So there you are, head over to Red Faction on FilePlanet - Europe and get your key now, at the time of writing its will still let anyone in Europe with a standard, none subscriber Fileplanet account get a key. Edit - It has been confirmed that if you try and sign up from a none European IP address you will be told for beta is full, thanks to xzKinGzxBuRnzx for letting us know. The answers i used to the questions: Over 18 Europe No Xbox 360 Gold Action/Action Adventure, First Person Shooter (FPS), Third Person Shooter 9-10 hours a week 11 or more hours Pick some random games Happy Gaming.
Signed up, I tried last week and every time I clicked appear I was sent back to the Beta Signup page, works now though!!
btw, i jus found out, they have dropped the beta for non subscribers now : S too late again. was gonna sign up for ra3 beta day be4 it finished but the acc system thingy wouldnt work then the next day it was over : ( now i see this and its finished : (.
Sadly open beta’s on file planet don’t last long at all, as people found out with Ra3 beta keys for none FilePlanet subscribers were only available for 24 hours... it sucks but they know they can get money by making people subscribe.
Note: This beta is now closed in USA. I'm pretty sure that it no longer works anywhere else to. Sorry everyone.
Aw man I was determined to give the beta a go this weekend . I'll check and see tonight if it's working for Europe still.
