New Xbox 360 Model May Come Bundled with Project Natal

In a recent blog entry by graphics programmer Ryan Geiss, a new Xbox 360 model may have been revealed. In his blog, Ryan states, "I can finally disclose that I'm one of the core developers of the human-tracking algorithms for Project Natal (click for more info), bringing full-body motion control to the Xbox 360+".

Now, whether or not the + was a typo has not yet been determined. If it was not a typo, then the rumors about the new 360 coming bundled with Project Natal and having a 1 TB HDD, may be true.

Ryan Geiss is working on many next-gen console projects as well as Project Natal. It is still unclear as to whether or not this is still a rumor, but it sounds like it may be true. Stay tuned to find out.

I do! Do none of you install the games to the HDD? I would install everyone of mine If I had a 1 TB hard drive that worked for it. Cause in the future once the Xbox 360 starts getting really hacked it may be possible to play them from the drive without inserting the disc for authentication.

I like the way you think Mr. Mexican! Even thought 1 TB seems like a lot, at least you would have the space if it was ever needed down the line.

1tb is amazing, just like KingBurnzz sez, load all your games on that 1tb, you dont ever have to worry about your discs getting scratched and unreadable, beside's, eventually somebody's gonna figure out how to install movie's, maybe even app's, so that 1tb will come in handy!! The only problem will obviously be... THE PRICE!! Microsoft is going to be ridiculous with the price of the XBOX 360+!

Just like my Xbox 1! It really is nice not having to put a disc in, but i can live with it. Its the homebrew like XBMC and the emulators I miss on the 360.

Nah i woudnt think so personally, a new model could just be one bundeld with natal or a bigger hard drive for all we know.

I think the 360 still has at least four years left in it. Why try and make a new console when you could just continue on with the current one?

That would be so badass if we could install games to our hard drive and not use the cd

Even if we can't play the games without the discs right now, at least installing the games can minimize how hard the 360 works, and prevent overheating.

You will never be allowd to officially install the games and not have the DVD in, people would buy one copy of the game and share it between all there mates.
If they sold 360 games on the marketplace tho... :)

I hear that Microsoft may add some new features to the Marketplace that allows players to rent games online and purchase full games too. Sony lets you do that with the Playstation Network and I think it would be great to be able to do that on the 360 as well.
