Windows 7 to sell in UK for half the US price

    This seems to be very good news for those special few in the UK. However, I wonder why? Is this a mistake or does it have something to do with them removing Internet Explorer?

    Well this is good news for our friends across the water isn't it? It seems that the UK is always getting charged more so this should be a relief to them.

    Looks like i'll be ordering my Windows 7 Overseas. Windows 7 E got canceled so it can't be from not having Internet Explorer.

    I think its because origionally we were only going to get the E edition which ment we couldnt upgrade, so they just sold the retail edition at upgrade prices. I dont see Windows 7 been that cheap for long over here.

    Apprantly its just until after Christmas, then normal pricing resumes :(
