There you go, your laptops not as bad as you thought.

If your thinking about upgrading though I would encourage you to get a PC... keep the laptop if you need a mobile computer too.

Both of them are pretty bad, but I prefered Farcry 2.

Unlike Crysis, Farcry had a story, although it does seem to deteriate and end up a bit hazy. Crysis was generic "Kidnap situation, North Korea, US, Jungle, Supersoldiers, generic-brit, oh and Aliens (...)"

Farcry had better graphics, because they were exactly the same as Crysis' but two years down the line.

    They both had sloppy AI

(oh yeah hi, I've been offline for a good long time)

How can you say Far Cry looks better than Crysis? Have you seen this game played with the settings on high? I have not played Crysis and I think it is better than Far Cry 2. Neither of them are "pretty bad", just not the best out there.

Crysis definitely has the superior graphics. But the game itself I found pretty boring, I'm not much into FPS', so that could be why. I completed Farcry 2 however, the story and mission based gameplay kept me playing, I'm a sucker for RPGs.

The thing is, seeing the graphics of Crysis are meant to be so good; every fault and slight flaw is amplified. Yes, the particle effects are pretty decent. the water is nice, and the physics are fun to mess with. But then I found that CryTek simply used large, block-like effects for the ground, floor and walls around you, which just seems to pull the overall effect of the game back down to "oh.... it's just a game" over "oh, this must be the matrix" which I hope/thought it would look like.

Oh and the lighting is fantastic on it aswell.
