Ahhh the smell of a new pc...of course once it settles in a bit you start to notice the little issues....And i've got one sound wise...I've started noticing that the sound out of one speaker/headphone is louder than the other...

I've checked and they are balanced....

    You guys got any ideas?

    My knowledge unfortunately is limited...sigh

Huuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmm......... very strange indeed, could be a prob with the wiring, check also your drivers and your sound center in your OS (you know, the tiny speaker near the clock) Also headphones?

You could maybe try making sure your speaker wires aren't by any power(240/120V) cables, these will interfere with the signal, and could cause issues like this. Maybe you're slightly deaf in one ear?

Oh God...Ill test this tommorrow with a friend or family member...God it would suck to be deaf in one ear....

But it only seems to be really noticeable in my realtek HD managers I/O interface test and newer games...(Far Cry2,Fear 2..Well they're probably old by now)

I tested it with speakers and earphones...

Be sure to let us know how this turns out. It's definitely tragic if you are deaf in one ear, but also very interesting.

Plug an mp3 player, psp or something in to the speakers and see if one speaker sounds louder than the other, if not then its most likely something on your pc.

If you are slightly deaf in one ear you would have probably noticed it when watching TV.

Hey guys tested it multiple times with diffrent speakers/pc's etc...searched the web...I know I am not deaf in one ear...Would definitely have noticed it in my daily activites,I've never had hearing issues...What I did find is that Fear 2 has a codec issue causing unstable sound and that far cry 2 was made with 5.1 sound in mind.So my two poor speakers are not at fault just vastly outdated...Wrumm...Thanks for all your effort...
