    If you have never used Xbox Live you can’t be banned, even if you had used live if your console is not modified you will not be banned.

    So update away.


    Region doesn’t matter, updates work on all console regions.

    Hello! I am new here & i had a question to be replied quickly ;):
    Does this update disable cracked 250GB HDDs as well or it just disables datel memories?! i have downloaded the update and waiting for your answers!
    PS. My console is not banned and it has just worked for 1 week! My HDD is a Western Digital 250GB HDD and it's working fine. I Just want to be UP TO Date! 8-| Does this UPDATE make any problems for me?!

    Only blocks datel memory cards, hard drives are unaffected! :)

    Well, everyone doesn't even mentioned about Built-in 256MB arcade console memory unit? I mean will it affected as well?

    Did the upgrade and got my avatars back , only game install to HDD doesn't work for me.:'(

    My console is banned offcourse:P

    Any future plans to make this option work again???

    Banned consoles no longer have the option to install games to their HDD, that option is permanently removed. Hope you weren't a Media Center user, as I believe that was removed too for banned consoles.

    Thx for posting this, it helped me, but now i have another problem:(

    Problem started when i tried to play ufc, and it required a update, i updated, but then he said the whole time: disc unreadable, but when i put my hard disk of my xbox, i can play the game..

    well when i did the ''update'' $SystemUpdate_Fall09_8955.zip he diddn't say anything, and my dashboard code is still the same.. But when i turned ufc in the disc, het played:)

    But now my new problem:

    When i tried GTA liberty city, i get the exact same problem as is had by UFC.. He said he need update, but when i do that, he say: disc unreadble, and when i turn hard disk of, he play the game..:S realy weird..
    Well then i tried the same thing as by ufc, but it didnnt work.
    I tried the other update's to, no 1 worked:(

    my dashboard code isnt changed (even when i have usb in the xbox.. the dashboard code is still 2.0.8498.0.. ) and he dont ask me about that a update is applied, just nothing happening:(

    I really dont know what to do:(

    Did you format your usb pen to fat 32? The xbox should be able to install the update then.

    I made a video which is in the first posts to help people understand better and maybe see where they have gone wrong.

    Guys, This is urgent. I mean Will the built-in 256MB memory arcade 360 be affected as well after we install this update (Why everyone doesn't even mentioned that)?

    You will still be able to use the 256mb of memory for save games if that is what you are asking.
