It appears apple has changed its tactics for jailbreakers, and is now actively banning at least some of them. At least for the time being, people reporting this happening are in some way connected to the iPhone Dev Team or other teams which release expoilts to jailbreak the iPhone. Apple hasnt started targeting the average jailbreakers yet, but is this just the first strike? One has to question such a response though, Apple claims that jailbreaking is against the law, but hasn't challenged this in court yet so there claims are unfounded at least at the moment. Also by banning peoples Apple ID's they stop them being able to purchase legit applications in the App Store, pushing jailbreakers to piracy. Pirating applications is so easy on a jailbroken phone, but many people just jailbreak it to add features Apple arent providing, like themeing and multitasking (and continue to purchase applications legit through the App Store). Those users may soon find Apple doesnt want there money for applications and they will be forced to download applications for free. Good move Apple, way to stop piracy!
