How do you make your torrents faster? I use uTorrent so is there any special way in doing it? The YouTube tutorials didn't seem to work...

Have you tried InsaneNutters guide? That may help make utorrent faster. Though it is possible that its the seeds/peers are doing much for uploading, they could just set it to a low/practically non-existence upload speed.

Aw crap. Now I know what it feels like when you don't seed.... Currently my upload speed is 200kbs faster than my download speed. IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!?

I'm guessing thats just what its saying for utorrent, that your uploading 200Kb/s more then downloading? You can set how fast you want your downloads/uploads to go, I set them so I don't browse the internet slower (by default utorrent will suck up all of your download and upload speeds). I wouldn't suggest using all of your up and down speeds on utorrent and suggest setting a download and upload limit on them.

Have you tried the updater in InsaneNutters guide? I use it regularly and have noticed quite a difference in download speeds. If you do use it make sure to completely close utorrent, update and then turn utorrent back on.

Set your upload speed in uTorrent to around 75% of your actual upload speed.
If you max your upload speed out that will slow your download speed significantly.

Public torrents will often be quite slow as the upload speeds on home connections are pretty bad in a lot of places, especially compared to the download speed. Plus people generally don't share back or limit there upload speed to the slowest speed possible if they do.

You would probably be best joining some private websites if speed is what you want, private websites require you share back and maintain a good ratio otherwise you get banned. The downside of this is you need to pretty much leave your PC on 24/7. Everyone shares back and a lot of people use servers with 100mbit or 1gpbs connections to seed which means no matter what your connection speed is you will pretty much max it out when downloading something.

Some websites for example have a seed bonus system, as long as you seed for 4-5 days even if you actually upload nothing the tracker will say you uploaded as much as you downloaded so you maintain a positive ratio.

If that sounds interesting to you have a look at FILEnetworks Blog and see if you can get in to any private websites with open signups on, a lot of the good ones will require you to get an invite off a friend.
