Yes just buy a compatible drive and flash the 250gb security sector.

The 2010 drive are the same, lots of people have hacked them perfectly.

99% of problems appear to be SATA chipset / configuration on the PC been used to hack the drive.

Is 250gb as big as we can go at the moment? Or is it possible to go higher?

250gb is as big as you can go, if Microsoft ever release a bigger drive we will be able to go as big as that drive.

AHCI is the main reason why people cant flash their drives.i have a hp g60 series laptop and it has AHCI so i had to use my dad's computer and that worked fine.my 250gb WD2500BEVT is still working for the xbox 360 and its much faster than the 20gb drive.

    Hi InsaneNutter
I had a question regarding the Xplorer360 Software....
When I backup my files, can I use the Xplorer360 to Restore all the Backup Files into an Original XBOX360 120gb HDD...... Or is it just for HDD that has been Modify.......
The reason I'm asking is because I'm trying to backup all my Files that I have in a 20GB and transfer to my 120GB..... i had purchase an XBOX360 Transfer Cable Kit but it didn't work because the cable is for the New XBOX360S/slim only......
If I cannot do it with Xplorer360, is there any other way? can you please suggest something ... Thank You Sir..

Many thanks for the instructions, InsaneNutter.

Now, if you don't mind, i'd like to ask you a few questions:

    1) since i replaced my old hdd with a new WD2500BEVT, i'm experiencing some minor freezing issues in some arcade and retail games. None of that happen on my old hard drive, so what could be the problem?

    2) Is there a way to get my old 20Gb drive to work in windows? I mean like a regular hard drive. I guess i need the original firmware for that model (ST920217AS), but i can't find any on the internet.
    Thanks.
