Myself, Nimrod, Rustwick and Trebor have been achievement framing on Halo Reach multiplayer this evening, if you want to get some of the achievements we got with ease, read on. Add the Easy Firefight gametype from my file share on Bungie.net to your download list, it should download next time you load Reach. Start a custom game and play "Easy Firefight" on Legendary difficulty (increases multiplier). All skulls will be on (increases multiplier), you will be invincible, have unlimited ammo and weapons should do a lot more damage. Firefight will also be set to an unlimited number of rounds so you can play at your own pace. You should be able to get the following achievements with ease: Lucky Me Earned a Triple Kill while Jetpacking in Campaign, Firefight or Matchmaking. Crowd Control Earned a Killionaire medal in Firefight Game, Set, Match Completed a Firefight set on Legendary without dying. Firestarter Scored 50,000 points in a Firefight game. Blaze of Glory Scored 200,000 points in a Firefight game. Heat in the Pipe (the hard one) Scored 1,000,000 points in a Firefight game. Heat in the Pipe took us 4+ hours to get (including a few breaks), however we system linked this and had 4 people taking it in turns to play for 20 mins, then swap over, so it wasn't that bad... although I think everyone was fedup of going for this one in the end. We had a good time all the same. An avatar award for 100 Firefight kills should also be unlocked as you play (I think it’s for that anyway) You can also unlock various other achievements for a certain number of kills with various weapons and the one for using a medi pack depending on the level played. Have fun - the idea for this was got from a video on IGN I can no longer find the link to.
Thanks, I did all of these last week. Also recommended the file to my own friends list, and I already saw more friends earning these! I only need 2 more achievements for Reach now, which require heavy multiplayer ranking.. I completed the Reach campaign alone on Legendary in less than 3 days, without any hints or video walkthrough. So it's really not as hard as in Halo 2 and 3 since you've got health again, instead of just shields! You can survive even some of the sniper hits now. And the Plasma Pistol/Battle Rifle combo still works on Elites and other shielded enemies.
Doing the campaign alone on legendary is the main one i need to get now, I don't think im ever going to get that though. I'm not a fan of playing the Halo by myself, especially on legendary. Also on Firefight: Modify the squad from Random to Ordered then fill it up with the top notch Elites, Hunters, and Brutes. You can also turn off drop ship so they come in faster through doors. Apparently you can get the one million in around an hour if you do that.
