Hey guys, Im Waleed, Im good at hacking (even though I havent hacked anything), graphics, strategy games, and anything I enjoy... Hope to enjoy my stay here Also be sure to visit my Free Signature thread for a sig. https://digiex.net/general-chat/365-signatures-free.html
Lol, just seen this thread. Hi Im Safinn but my realy name is Jimmy. Im 15 going into year 11. Love gaming, Digiex, going out, playing football and I support arsenal fc!
Hey folks, I'm Joe. I'm a gamer and a CAD Technician, also an IT manager at my company (that doesn't mean much, I'm 25 and the next youngest is pushing 50, so that makes me the default computer expert =D ). I dont hack or program, though I've been considering dabbling in programming for a while. I stumbled on to the site searching for LAN cracks for Red Alert 3, I stuck around because i like the vibe of the site. I cant put my finger on it, but the site reminds me of the good old days when the internet was enjoyable (maybe 10-13 years ago) before it became the worthless cess-pool it is today. Maybe its the shared love of old side scrollers =D. Anyway, you probably wont see too many posts from me, I'm more of a troll. But hey, forums need trolls too. -Joe
As long as you're happy under your bridge Icharus and don't get fed or get upset with other members, welcome!
Be sure to let your friends know about your new found love for Digiex even if they don’t post much I’m sure they will enjoy the Arcade, I used to love stuff like that when I was back in School. I’m glad you like the vibe, most of the Digiex Staff are in there early twenties so you’re probably on the same wavelength we are! I hope to see you and all the new members who introduced themselves around
Heh, you made me think back to the time of old Tripod and geocities sites with crappy animated gifs, midi's playing in the background, guestbooks and visitor counters... <3 Anyway, glad you like it here! And yes, your love for old sidescrollers is greatly shared here!
Lol well I guess your Facebook link in your sig tells it all. I’ve got family down in Surrey Welcome to Digiex!
Heh, well I don't actually live in Surrey, but I start university there next week! Can you see my whole page? I don't think there's any way to make it non-private to people I haven't added.
I can see anything on your Info and Notes page plus your profile photo, if I log out of Facebook I can only see your name and profile pic. If your using the new Facebook click settings near the top right > privacy settings > profile, you can alter who can see what there. I’m surprised I could see your profile as you can’t usually view profiles of people unless there in the same networks as you.
I added you to see if we do, that would explain it if so. Feel free to delete me after if you wish. Edit – you know Assassin? If so that’s our friend of a friend lol
Haha yeah it's Assassin, but your friends don't seem to display on your profile so I can't see mutual friends...
I live in Surrey, and the University there is fantastic, your enjoy yourself I can see the whole page, but we are in the same network (London).
Humm It should do, I was messing about with privacy settings a while ago after watching some program about how information on Facebook can be used for id theft and stuff like that, I most likely broke something lol At least we know who our mutual friend is.
Hi I'm Bobby . . . I play console games (PS2, Xbox 360, Wii) as I get a chance, but working full time and being a father of two very busy girls I don't get many chances. Oh, and I promise not to spam . . . too much.
I might want to drop a few lines on myself in here for those of you who don't yet know me. My name is Tom and in recent days I surf the internet under my nickname "Cpp" meaning C++, the programming language. I used to be a big fan of computer games a number of years ago. Today my interest in gaming has faded though I still widely use computers (networking, programming, linux servers, etc). I've been a part of the Jazz Jackrabbit community for like 9 years where I'm widely known as Overlord, the programmer of a number of utilities for jj2. I've been a programmer since the age of 4 where I first started to code QBasic on my dad's Commodore64. Later I've expanded my knowledge to a number of other languages like HTML, Visual Basic, C/C++, PHP, Actionscript, Assembly, BASH and some others. My keen talent has always been gamehacking but more recently I've taken an interest in linux and computer security. I've also met a few good friends in jj2 (including Nimrod) over my past few years. Today I study chemistry and widely use my knowledge of computers.
Nice mate. Welcome to the community. I wish I knew some of the programming languages. Are they hard to learn?
Didn't know this was here but I found it so I'll post some stuff about me now: My names Joseph (prefer to be called Joe), and I'm 15. I came across this site after looking for somewhere to download the NXE and have loved it. Things I enjoy doing include: going on my xbox, running, editing/making movies and graphic design. Erm I hve a vista laptop but my dad has a mac and I prefer them getting a macbook soon
