The average Brit breaks the law around 21 times a year, it has emerged. Speeding, eating or drinking while driving and not wearing a seat belt are the most common crimes we commit during our day-to-day lives. Other car crimes which take place regularly include jumping red lights, parking on double yellow lines and driving someone else's motor without the proper insurance cover. John Miles, business development director for Gocompare.com, which conducted the poll of 3,000 adults, said: "Brits are becoming so used to breaking the law on a daily basis that they aren't even fazed by their actions. "A huge number of people choose to regularly break the speed limit, which means British roads are filled with inconsiderate and dangerous drivers. "And those people who insist on doing things other than actually driving the car - such as eating, drinking or using the mobile phone - are putting their own lives in danger as well as the lives of others." I have done quite a few of them. I drove through a red light for my first time a few weeks ago but im still doing driving lessons so I should be excused .
lol thats a new one on me. But sounds almost like it is here in the US, but I think I've broke everyone of those laws
I'm sure i remember at one point they wanted the TV licence to extend to owning a computer too as that could be used to watch TV, thankfully never happened though. I have heard you have some crazy laws over there such as "Canned corn is not to be used as bait for fishing." i find it hard to believe they are true however!
Ya there are a lot of old dumb laws here in the US lol like I read one were ladies can't were big hats because it might scare children and animals lol, you have to have a permit to have a goatee, when I used to have my iPhone I had a program on there that was just nothing but dumb laws like that
