    Can you go to system information and see what version of the dashboard you are using?
    The latest Freeboot 0.032 (9199 dash) will ignore the region of any game and boot it regardless, you shouldn't need to patch games anymore.

    Anyway you want to extract the contents of the ISO with Xbox Image Browser, after that apply the all region and all media hacks with this tool.

    I think its broken at the moment, it does sometimes update but sadly not very often like it used to.

    hello, i need some help for a XBOX 360.

    I have a XBOX 360 with PAL platform, and i need read games in a NTSC platform. I'm living in a region with NTSC platform, and my xbox it was buyed in France.

    So, anybody knows how remove the regional restriction to play with my xbox360 games with NTSC platform? So, i need play with original CD's XBOX 360.

    Unless your Xbox 360 is Jtag hacked then you cant remove any region restrictions from games.

    Most NTSC games are region free anyway so will play fine on your PAL console.

    If you have a Jtag or Reset Glitch hacked Xbox 360 you can, if all your Xbox 360 can do is play backed up discs then no you cant.

    Current status

    Hi,

    I'll have the RGH on my 360, and I want to know if this method would work or would be necessary if I'm going to install the
    latest FSD (latest is 2.2.725?).

    Unless I'm just going to use the NXE dashboard, can FSD bypass the region checks for a game? (something about using RB)

    Nope its not necessary at all, your console will just ignore the region locks and play the game regardless of it been loaded form the MS Dash or from Freestyle.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your answer. Just this little explanation: why will it just ignore it? Because of the JTAG?

    If that's so... then why the existence of this program? Because I have a NTSC console, and I've downloaded The Godfather 2 PAL version.
    Probably I'll download more PAL games later, so I want to be a 100% sure.

    And another question: is the 2.2.725 the latest version of the FSD?

    Thanks again, with this just solved I can be more relaxed.

    Yes its one of the many features of a 360 running a hacked kernel / dash (Jtag / RGH console)

    As for the program it existed long before any hacks for the 360 were released, it does a lot more than patch the region so its still relevant, however you shouldn't really need to use it for just playing games.

    Help! My XBOX was modified (or is it JTAG Hacked?) and can now play tons of games. I recently DL'd DISNEYLAND ADVENUTRES for the kids (since it's not available to our country yet), but the only problem is when I played it says Wrong Region. So I search for a solution and found this forum. I downloaded your Hack 5.2 and Xex. I tried it on the DISNEYLAND ADVENTURE files and this appears on Hack 5.2:

    Checking all files in 'M:\Games\XBOX\Disneyland.Adventures.XBOX360-COMPLEX\'


    Finished checking 88 files in 'M:\Games\XBOX\Disneyland.Adventures.XBOX360-COMPLEX\'

    Does it mean it worked? How would I know for sure if it will work this time? I am afraid to burn the image to DVD-DL since it ay be a waste only. Can any1 please give me a step by step process. I don't know how to use the XEX file ( I just put them all in one directory). I really can;t wait to play this game. Thanks!

    hehehe...I hope InsaneNutter replies soon. I already got the image file burned and ready to play on my XBOX..but that dang REGION thingie came up! My kids are devastated. |-)

    To hopefully answer a few questions:

    This tool will not remove the region protection from the Xbox 360, however it will remove it from a game.

    If remove the region protection from a game you need to then play the game on a Jtag or RGH hacked console, you can not re burn the game to the disc and expect it to work in a retail or flashed (hacked dvd drive). It will not. Modified games will only work on a Jtag or RGH console.

    Grey.fox it sounds like you just have a normal 360 or flashed console, you are out of luck then sadly your console is bound by the region restrictions placed on games, unless you get it RGH hacked (Reset Glitch)

    Dexxxtroyer if you have a Jtag or RGH hacked console then it will be region free, so im guessing you just have a flashed console, they will only play non modified games from a dual layer disc, so sadly i believe you are out of luck too. You will also want to look in to getting your console RGH hacked to remove the region restrictions.

    The RGH hack is a hardware hack, it can not be carried out by just running an application on the pc or 360.

    oh no! does it mean my XBOX console is not yet JTAG hacked? And is only a Flashed 360 ( Modified dvd firmware)? all this time I thought it was JTAG hacked!? (dang and I paid good money for it to be modified). so do u still think a JTAG hack is necessary for me to play those games with regional restrictions? And is it true that a JTAG hacked console can play to XBOX LIVE and can't be banned? is JTAG hack and RGH one and the same? sorry master nutter if i have tons of question. but your response will surely be appreciated.:D

    also, im planning to have my console serviced here...and please confirm if this is reliable.thanks a bunch ;)
