even if you install 13xxx which reflashes your dvd to support newer games (though m$ will not tell you that) and are all the way up to 14699 on a stock system... they will not unban for a minor software issue that should be on their end, since from a software standpoint the 360 is unmoddable without hardware modification. They have terrible customer support. I am trying to redeem a non refundable dlc codeand all they can tell me is the same thing as gameslop... go buy a new console, when this one is perfectly fine, not modded and error free... well needless to say I will be seeing if it can be rhd'd any day now or possibly getting another one that's not banned whether it works or not I will be getting the zomie map packs for the 360 soon I refuse to wait 3 yrs until the cut live for the 360's all together in order to get what I am going to pay for one way or another. They are a greedy company that pretends to protect their customers only to leave their accounts wide open to brute force hacking. If you flash a console its not their fault.You need to read up on console modifications,what happens when you update and everything else. They also ban consoles for using accounts loaded with msp from dhgate or if you steal a gamertag. You can post here to find out what you did : 15 - My console was banned Xbox.com
I can agree with that. It's tied to a gamertag anyways. There are several ways you can get banned, including just by having a few gamertags banned (since obviously actions weren't improved after a few gamertag bans) They're a corporation, they went into business to make money, they aren't a charity drive. Also it doesn't matter what company it is, everything is open to brute force hacking, that being said good luck with that. So pick Linux, this has nothing to do with your 360. It's also no different than PS3 removing Linux after 3.15, also grounds for a class action law suit and that got no where. You're saying stuff like this yet you still wonder why you got banned. Have fun with that free online, PSN was so secure nearly every account on PSN was comprimised and PSN was offline for a month due to their terrible security flaws. PSN is also quite slow and doesn't have Party Chat (Cross Chat) support, which is what I like most about 360. The MW series has never had Zombies, they aren't going to start now.
Sorry , i have to disagree with you . PSN isn't that bad anymore . It is very stable & not so laggy as in the beginning of PSN . Of course is it not the same as XBL , but it is getting there . Now don't get me wrong , i love playing on XBL . But PSN is free of charge & that is for the most people a big plus .
So, you flashed/modded your console? Microsoft's doing the right thing to ban people from playing with modified systems so everyone who has a clean 360 plays fair. Don't cuss Microsoft when it's your fault.
