So what did everyone think? I was personally very impressed by Microsoft Smart Glass.

Unveiled today Smart Glass allows users to play video and other media from their mobile devices on their big-screen television, thanks to the Xbox 360. In addition, it acts as a mobile companion to enhance gameplay.

Thats a massive blow to Nintendo and the Wii-U if you ask me, it will be out this year and can be used with any existing tablet or mobile device. I was very impressed to here Smart Glass is also supported on Android and IOS, Microsoft have really got all the bases covered there.

Ive also been testing out my capture card, I capped the entire Microsoft E3 stream and have encoded it, will be up for download later as a 1.6gig 720p MP4 if anyone wants a copy to watch / archive.

i thought microsofts actually sucked too much emphasis on kinect overall 1 first party game Halo and thats all they brought to the table and renewed the Call of duty DLC contract

my friends opinion was this taken from facebook lol

so awful....Integration of your windows PC/tablet/phone to the 360.... If Microsoft wanted to integrate they would follow the DLNA specs and I would have been streaming to my 360 for years. As it stands MS has made sure it won't unless I get windows 8 and a MS phone.

2-3 good games I can recall and a huge reliance on Kinect for everything.

South Park RPG - Matt and Trey letting loose at MS about connectivity was the highlight of the entire thing. And the game looks good too.
Splinter Cell seems like a genuine upgrade from the previous entry, lots of context sensitive executions and kinect integration of voice is a work of genius

Everything else is blatant rips of other
Angry Birds Kinect
COD BLops 2 new inovation is Rainbow Six Vegas Decisions and Battlefield 3 Aircraft.... all still on a creaky quake 3 engine
Forza Horizon is the equivalant of Need for Speed the run.
Halo 4 does look good with the new lambent.... sorry Gears logo faces......I mean Covenant.
Lococycles was a prerendered bike...... reallly in 2012 that's all we get?
Matter is Marble Madness with Portal graphics.
Resident evil was resident evil with dragons lair quicktime events, and near constant screen tear.

So do Shopto sell PC games? I've never had need to know until now.

Ive uploaded the Microsoft Conference captured from the Xbox Live stream, it includes 15 mins at the start from Major Nelson & Co.

Download: Microsoft Xbox 360 E3 2012 Press Conference [720p HD]

What about Xbox Smart Glass? I was pretty impressed with it, that's basically the main selling point of the Wii-U now on Xbox 360, THIS console generation. Plus you dont need to go out and buy a tablet if you own one. Looks like you can even use a smart phone with it too.

I liked it a lot it was definitely great to watch it, there's so many new content coming out for Xbox I can't wait, especially for IE for Xbox, Forza Horizon, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Resident Evil 6 and others!

Oh yeah, Halo 4 looked pretty badass too.

I don't really get the haters but oh well, they have their opinion too, so it's cool.

i'm not impressed. halo 4 will always be a game to play but every other game of note is multi platform so meh. smart glass sounds amazing but its an app and it can always be copied, requires a data connection and i'm not sure i wanna waste 200mb of data on features. so....meh

Halo 4 looks amazing, Xbox Smart Glass is going to be pretty awesome and IE for Xbox should please a lot of people.

Over all i think it was a pretty strong presentation, considering the next console is in development we got some pretty good stuff this year.

Remember this is just the Microsoft Conference, i'm sure we will see loads more over the next few days.

Microsoft E3 Conference Reactions

So for those that have seen Microsoft's E3 press conference, what are your thoughts? What do you think they did right, what could they have improved on, or was their something you were hoping they would showcase and did not? Give us your thoughts!

I personally enjoyed the conference. I thought the gameplay shown for Halo 4 was phenomenal and enjoyed the little Gears of War: Judgment Teaser they had. What really blew me away and I was not expecting it was the new Splinter Cell: Blacklist reveal. Not only did they reveal the game, they had an amazing gameplay demo that blew me away. I was sad to hear that Michael Ironside, the voice of Sam Fisher for the last decade, would not be returning for Blacklist. The reason being is with the new action orientation of the this game, Ubisoft needed someone capable of doing intense motion capture. Being in his 60s, Ironside simply could not meet the needs of Ubisoft for this game, which is a serious loss. Ubi will have a ton of work ahead of themselves in order to make this new guy feel and sound like the old Sam Fisher we have come to know and love.

I was also intrigued by the reveal of Forza: Horizon. It looks like a nice hybrid between the open world gameplay of the Test Drive: Unlimited series, and the realism that is only seen through Turn 10 studios' Forza Motorsport series. I do not have high expectations for this game yet, but we'll see what they showcase in the coming months.

Another demo that really caught my eye was the new Tomb Raider reboot. I never was a HUGE fan of Tomb Raider games, I played them here and there but would get bored eventually. After seeing Lara Croft's reboot in action, it is safe to say that I will be buying this game Day 1 when it releases next year. I think the new mature direction for the series will really do it some good and attract more of the hardcore gaming crowd, especially with the amped-up violence which was showcased by Lara shooting and enemy in the leg with an arrow and then walking up to him and shoving another one in his throat. I am confident that this new Tomb Raider will give the Uncharted series a run for its money and may just dethrone it as the new king, or in Lara's case Queen, of the treasure-hunting game.

The XBLA reveals were interesting with a few new games coming from Twisted Pixel, as well as the dev team behind the Toy Soldiers games. It seemed only fitting that Microsoft's press briefing should end with an in depth-demo of the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops II. From what I saw, it still looks like Call of Duty and that to me is a little bit of a red flag. Sure it played a little different, but it still felt like CoD. This will be another game I will have to wait and see how it unfolds up until its release date in Novemeber (still am likely to pick it up though). Although it was not part of Microsoft's conference, I was more impressed with EA's upcoming shooter, Medal of Honor: Warfighter. This gameplay demo blew me away compared to the Black Ops II one. It's safe to say this is going to be the biggest and best year (also into next year) for gaming in history.

The tomb raider gameplay looked good, this one seems to be very different from the other ones. I have noticed more environmental elements breaking which is cool and makes it more realistic.
I will probably buy halo 4 i like the multiplayer the best on halo games.

List of things I liked from E3 Microsoft Xbox 360:

* Halo 4 (I wasn't even a fan of the Halo franchise but it looked pretty awesome!)
* Tomb Raider
* Splinter Cell Blacklist (Sam Fisher is back thank God!)
* Forza Horizon
* Resident Evil 6
* Fable the Journey Better With Kinect (the guy looked like he was doing a Kamehame-Ha from DB, this is the only reason why I liked it)
* Nike+ Better With Kinect
* South Park Stick of Truth (where you'll play with a character created by you in 2D)
* Internet Explorer For Xbox
* Lots more video service providers
* Xbox Music (for Xbox and Windows)
* LocoCycle (a motorbike racer)
* Nickelodeon on Xbox

I'm downloading the E3 Sony conference, but to be honest, I don't really have much hope for it to be as good as Microsoft was to me.

What I'm truly excited about is E3 Nintendo for Wii U.

By the way, people bitching about console graphics, really? Come on, the hardware of the console is outdated since the moment is released, however, the consoles offer great gaming experiences and the graphics don't really disappoint me, at all, I love the graphics on 360 and PS3.

Not sure about the new "NFS Most Wanted" i never really played the last NFS game if im honest.

The Nintendo Wii U Pre E3 thing was quite interesting:

For something i had no interest in it certainly got my attention, i still don't think ill get one when it launches though to be honest.
Depends on the games and price.
