I was quite impressed with the Xbox One when it was announced, however the more I read about the Xbox One the less impressed i'm becoming to be honest.

    Major Concerns:

    1. The console needs to be connected to the internet once every 24 hours, otherwise you cant play your games. I see no need for anything like that to be mandatory what so ever. Lets be honest internet connections do go down, or you might take the console somewhere where it cant get online...

    2. No headsets for Xbox Live, your expected to just use Kinect to speak / listen through the tv. I would prefer a headset, that way when someone is screaming down the mic you can easily just turn the volume down, and not annoy anyone else who's about with it. I see that been a bit annoying if other people are in the room too.

    3. Game activation - all well and good you can play without no disc, however what happens if you have more than one Xbox in the house? Example want to share games with a family member / housemate who also own an Xbox One? You cant. You also cant let friends borrow games without them essentially paying a fee to use your game. Sort of ruins the good spirit off "here is this amazing game, borrow it and you will love it".

How rediculus is that if you go on holiday you will need to ask someone to xbox sit for you. They are really going to have to re think some of there ground breaking ideas. They need to reaise that the cloud isnt perfect and that people are not going to be connecting the thing to the internet every day.

Retailers will be free to charge whatever they wish for pre-owned Xbox One games, but both Microsoft and publishers will take a percentage cut of every sale.

Read More: Publishers to receive cut of Xbox One pre-owned sales at retail

Many readers are asking whether the £35 will be additional cost on top of the price of buying the game. No, we believe that the £35 figure – which is not our number, incidentally – would cover the entire transaction. If correct this would leave retail with a cut per sale of around £3.50.

So essentially the "cheap" pre owned games market is dead, as is re-selling Xbox One games on Ebay.

I thought that was why the xbox one content was created for stuff like this to go into.

Xbox One has a lot of ports in the back, but what got me thinking was what the hell they were thinking when designing the controller because it looks very simplistic and as if it's an unofficial controller.

However, I'll give it a chance once they announce more details, the console is out for try-outs and more.

It does however it lacks USB ports tbh, it has 3x USB 3 ports. One of them is going to be taken up by an external hard drive at some point for a lot of people, leaving only two for controllers to charge / friends memory devices. Then again its all cloud based so chance are you can just sign in and hopefully it wont take 10 mins to download your profile, doing away with needing to keep it on a usb device.

Looks like better news for used games, best to see what E3 has to show us in a few weeks.

That is a shame because Xbox 360 Slim has like 5 USB ports which are very useful to plug in USB cards, cables and more.

Still, that many ports is quite impressive for a gaming console.
