Good idea, i'm also getting the game for Xbox, it should be here on Tuesday. Apparently you cant play online until October though from what i've read. Myself, Nimrod and KingBurns were planning to play when released, i also know a coupe of others others who would probably play too. Yes the game comes out Tuesday and online is unlocked on October 1st. My social club username is bandit3081 and my GT is EnVx iAngel.
I've joined the Crew. Really looking forward to it but it was a real bummer to find out recently that GTA5 has no online play out of the box and that it's coming separately in October. Tuesday's release date doesn't mean much to me anymore as the main thing I do in games these days is multiplayer (solo just bores me..)
The single player is pretty entertaining from what i've played, like you i generally find single player by myself boring however GTA 5 has been a lot of fun. It certainly makes up for the horrible GTA 4. When you have a sex crazed dog that goes around humping other dogs in one of the missions you cant help but laugh, the conversations between the characters add a lot of humour to the game too. As long as your not easily offended there's a lot of funny comments in the single player game.
I've joined, took me a while to figure out my password as I've setup an account with rockstar back in '08. Luckily I managed it! Looking forwarding to when we can all play together! ;D
Joined the crew as well Good that I did not activate my 3 month XBL Gold just yet as I did not know that GTA Online is not up yet
So how are we all doing on GTA V? i think i'm around 38% complete on the game and have put 16 hours in to it since last Saturday. The game is a lot of fun, just really long! not that i mind as i plan to just play though it at my own pace, i'm not really in a rush to finish it or anything given it's probably the last major game for the Xbox 360. Looking forward to mulltiplayer been enabled however, should be a lot of fun
Microsoft said there are still around 100 games to come to Xbox 360 in the next 3 years. To reply to what i was originally going to, i'm about 67% through the game, with about 10 missions left to do. Maybe a little less. I've put at least 27 hours into the game so far. I'm going to try and 100% it though, once i finish the story. I hope i don't have to do the Yoga activity... i hated the mission...
Beat the game, now going to replay the entire game to be smarter with my money. Just a tip wait until the end of the game to do the assassination missions.
