I came across this website when randomly browsing the internet: The Computer Wizard

    They state:

"We will NOT build Windows Vista computers for any reason"

I thought the website was a joke but apparently there a real company *-)

Sounds like the most unprofessional company ever... I would love to know what they think about Windows 7 ;)

Maybe they haven't updated their webs(H)ite in quite some time. Some of those points were valid about a year or so ago but now that new drivers and SPs have been released none of what they say is true anymore. Heck the bog standard netbook/laptop Intel GFX chip GMA can handle Vistas fancy features! They also aren't great computer wizards if they don't know how to turn down/off UAC which you've been able to do since the beta was released I believe. No doubt if they mentioned Windows 7 they'd hopefully be praising it. Unless they're all Mac Lovers in disguise!

Says it was updated in 2009 on most of the pages, at the time the majority of newish hardware on sale worked with Vista, it was just some older hardware that had problems such as motherboards with older nforce chipsets.

It was just the statement “We will NOT build Windows Vista computers for any reason, we don't like it and you probably won't either!”

Thought that was very unprofessional coming from a computer company as they can check the hardware worked with Vista before building the pc so that should only ever be an issue if your upgrading an old pc.

Sure their reaction is a bit harsh. But I can see where they're coming from. Things are different and sometimes unwieldy in vista. Some of the problems the average person comes in with couldn't be fixed until recently. For example, if someone used vistas encryption mechanisms and forgot their passwords, they were locked out. Ophcrack changed that, but there's bound to be similar problems which are just hurdles. It's not that some things in vista can't be fixed, some things turn in to a massive time sink.

Vista is really a worse product from Windows product line. Windows 10 is much better for now. Moreover, it is very easy to unlock windows 10 password when you forgot it.

Well, Windows Vista is no doubt great in appearance but in terms of core operations, it lacks a lot. I would prefer sticking to windows 7 for best results....!
