    Xbox Console Timeline
    ----------------------------------
    Original Xbox Released 2001
    Xbox 360 Released 2005
    Xbox 360 Slim Released 2010
    Xbox 360 E Released 2013
    Xbox One Released 2013
    Xbox One S Released 2016
Xbox One X Releasing In November 2017

The console features 512 MB of GDDR3 RAM clocked at 700 MHz the Xbox 360 uses standard 2.5" SATA Hard Disk Drives(HDDs) held within custom enclosure.Of course today that amount of ram doesn't seem much compared some the ram of nowadays hardware runs heck you have laptops and computers with up to 12 GB of ram so its surprising that the console ran games at such a good fps but hey I guess the hardware is designed a certain way so that games can run faster. All versions of the Xbox 360 come with a built-in 10/100 Ethernet network adapter although you can buy separate wifi adapters if you wish not to use ethernet cables.

You may be asking why did microsoft goto the troubles of making 3 of the same consoles with different names well the reason is simple the xbox slim was created to make the console much smaller for ease of traveling and also to upgrade some of the specs of the hardware but the main reason is due to people modding the chipset to be able to load pirated games so the new releases did have a purpose but also to keep up with the requirements and graphics of newer games which is understandable.
