About the Pokemon Gen 1 YOSHIBA Mew Blue Distribution Cart:

This download is for the first ever publicly available savefile that was dumped from an original Pokemon Blue cart, which was used to distribute YOSHIBA Mew by direct trade. The distribution took place at Toys R Us stores in the United States from the 8th to 12th of December 1999. The players who were allowed to obtain a Mew were determined among the first 1500 customers at each Toys R Us store on 26 November 1999, where they were able to receive a special "Peel & Win" sticker card (pictured below). 200 of these cards at each store contained the text "Caught Me!" underneath the sticker of Mew.

The GameBoy Pocked and distribution cart were gifted to Project Pokemon user KurokamiHaruhi, who had the following to say about how they became to be in possession of it:

Similar to the Pokemon GEN1 YOSHIRA Mew Red Distribution Cart Save dumped back in 2018, every Mew has identical IV stats: 5 HP, 10 Attack, 1 Defense, 12 Speed, and 5 Special. Every Mew in this savefile has the Original Trainer name of YOSHIBA

    Credit:

Thanks once again to Project Pokemon user KurokamiHaruhi for dumping and preserving this rare distribution save, sharing it for all to enjoy.

It "could" corrupt every different language game. During 1st and 2nd gen Game Freak suggested to not trade with different language games (it was written on instructions booklet). But there wasn't certain. So, if you have the ability to make a backup of your game you could try. In the worst case, you can always restore your backup.

Oh i see, thank you for that clarification, i didn't know that it was about every languages.

EDIT : Just found a pdf of the french crystal manual to check if it was printed on the french manual, and there it was in the multiplayer section. I never read the manuals as a kid and should have kept all the cardboard boxes and manuals.
