I was just re-watching SAW V right now to get caught up before SAW VI comes out in a few weeks. I got thinking about the movies so far. I know a lot of people don't care for them, but I have to say that I really enjoy them. The first one was the best in my opinion, a sheer work of art. I enjoy the movies because they really make the viewers think as to what would happen if they found themselves in these life and death situations. I really love the writing for the first movie. The writing of the later movies was not as good, but I still enjoyed the stories. Any other SAW fans out there? If so, what do you like about the movies, and if not, what don't you like about them?

I loved the first one as it made me think what I would do if I was in that situation as you said, I’m not really a fan of the films though, I watched the second which was “ok” but i really didn’t enjoy the third and never watched any of them after that.

It was a good one hit wonder to me, I think the rest were too similar and were not new and amazing like the first.

Have you played the SAW Game yet Killer? I'm a huge SAW fan but to be honest, I do require some sort of light throughout the house before watching. ;) Those movies can be very scary.

I have rented the SAW game Mr. Burnz! It is actually quite good. It has a lot of traps and scenes from the movies. You get to play as Detective Tapp from the first movie, which I thought was cool to see what he went through after his partner was killed (Detective Sing).

I would have to agree with you on the lighting because the movies do tend to be a bit scary. The part in the first one where Adam is in his apartment and using the flash on his camera to light things up is quite unsettling.
