Battlefield 1943 Hits the Arcade Next Week The long-awaited online multiplayer game is finally being released on the Xbox Live Arcade on July 8th. The game will cost 1200 MS Points and will be 560MB in size. The game is an online multiplayer FPS with gameplay similar to that of Battlefield: Bad Company. The game will feature multiple game modes as players battle across many different landscapes. The game will use the latest Frostbite destruction engine. Players can engage in intense dogfights on land, sea, and air. For those that have not seen the trailer, here it is: [video=youtube;K36sYJsW7rA] Battlefield 1943 seeks to redefine what people think about downloadable games. From what I have seen, this game looks like it will be the best 1200 points I have ever spent. Can't wait!
This also looks great to me, after all the rubbish on the arcade these last few months were finally getting some decent games I’ve never really got in to a battlefield game before so ill give this a try.
I am really looking forward to this game. Finally, a decent arcade game. I'm hoping that this won't end up like the Worms 2 release, filled with glitches and problems.
Stuff like Worms 2 happen quite rarely, so I would say it would be fine. The game does look pretty decent, I'll definitely download a trial of the game when available. It'll probably be a 'buy' in my opinion. Although I might wait a bit, people usually find glitches in games like that and rape the game for what is was.
This is true. I hate when people take advantage of games like that, it ruins the fun for everyone else.
Yeah, I know. Sorta like the incident when people would cheat online on CoD4 and use god mode. Also when people could jump through the wall on CoD WaW. Although I must say it is hilarious in a private match if you get under the map and your half way through the ground and you act like a shark and everyone else is freaking out.
That is hilarious. I would do that to people as often as I could. It was especially funny when little kids would freak out about me being under the map. They wouldn't know what was going on and have a cow. Too funny.
