So we have all seen the videos and read the articles but what is everybody elses views on it. have they improved it or have they just made it more complicated.

im looking forward to it anyway.
 
It looks GREAT!!! I CAN'T WAIT...I'll Camp all night at gamestop just to get the first copy. The game looks great. I love that I'll be able to pick enemies up and use them as a shield. Plus the new characters and weapons. This game will be fantastic and a BIG hit.
 
Looks insanly Awsome!!

Just love how they have completely changed the way you finish off your downed kills..

Cant wait to Rip someones head off with the Torque Bow 8o|
 
I can’t wait to down Haloman then use him as a human shield to defend against MunkyMagik’s attacks! Then I’ll probably get burnt down with KingBurnsz’s flame thrower and my head ripped off by Stument ;)

Multiplayer should be even better this time around, I remember Epic saying it was a sort of last minute thing in Gears of War but you can tell a lot more effort has gone in to it this time.

Lol, Sounds like you'll be getting your butt kicked. Next round I'll half to switch teams! Then we can you'll use haloman man as a human shield and i'll be behind watching your back with my flame thrower and if nimrod purchases it he can be ripping off stument head!!!!!!!! :)
 
why is it everyone thinks i will be used as a human shield. the other thing i am looking forward to is chainsaw duels. need i say more
 
I'm buying this game on release date, 100% sure.. Still I doubt the multiplayer will be less glitchy than it's prequel. Best features I'm looking forward to are probably the things we've already seen in GoW1, talking about the good cover system and the great atmosphere filling the whole game.
 
i will probably get it for xmas. i will have so much uni corsework to sift through that i wont be able to play it till then anyways.

Pro Evolution Soccer, its the "other" football game, apart from FIFA. It's always been the better game, even though not as many people buy it. However in the last couple of years FIFA has taken a much bigger leap since the next gen (current gen now i suppose) than PES, and it has therefore become a much closer battle as to which is the better game.

Back on topic, i really look forward to playing the campaign in GoW2 as well. Its something i have always enjoyed about games, and I love to get immersed in the story, as with Halo (Having played all the games many times and read every novel to date). However having ben let down by Halo 2 & 3 after the first one was one of the best stories i personally have ever played, I just hope Gears doesn't go down the same kind of path.

As for mutliplayer, I was never a huge fan of multiplayer on Gears 1, due the fact i was pretty shite at it, but I think with the addtion of modes such as Horde it will be a cut above the rest in terms of multiplayer.
 
The multiplayer on gears was awsome. The multiplayer on halo 2,3 that was crappy. I hated it. Though on gears the campaign play I'm sure with be SO SO SO great. The only thing I hope they do fix are the glitches. I don't want to get gears 2 and already see people carb walking, kung fu flipping, out of map, host shotty Any of that...I want it to be a 100% even game. No host shotty. Just 5v5 or 4v4!:)

Yes :D I know it was rumoured but I had no idea if it was confirmed. Now that’s going to be a blast this Christmas, although ill get it on release day I probably won’t have time to play it until Christmas because of all the coursework and assignments.
