I thought clans are made of people who know each other a long time and have common skills. Kinda like a rock band.

It depends really, some clans let anyone join, some clans only let the best of the best join. Some clans are made out of people who have known each other a long time and just enjoy playing together.

If i play online its with friends or people i have known online / from Digiex for a long time, were not in an official clan, we just use the [DIGX] clan tag in Call of Duty or D01, D02, D03 numbers in Halo.

I use [DIGX] all the time on PS3. At the time of MW3, no one wanted to join the PS3 DIGX Clan.
