Just to pre-warn people, some downtime will be expected tomorrow for an hour or two, or longer depending on how quick your ISP updates our domain name. We are moving the website onto a new server which will lead to about an hour of downtime while we move it, followed by a small period of time where your ISP may still send you to our old server and not our new server.

This will likely happen late afternoon in GMT (Early morning in America), but the time will be dependent on how quickly the new server can be setup.

Our apologies for this, we will be as quick as possible! If it all goes well, Digiex will be MUCH faster..

But this site is already so fast! Maybe we need to slow it down.

Everything will be going from 2x webservers that are ok for the job to one nice up to date webserver :) As you will notice the new server has double the hard disk space of the old servers combined... so more room for Downloads and so on.

    New server:
    Intel Core2Duo 2.33 GHz
    2gb DDR2 ram
    2x 500gb SATA2 hard drives
    Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard (64bit)
    Unlimited bandwidth @ 100mbps

    Old Web Server:
    AMD Athlon LE 1660 @ 2.80ghz
    2gb ram
    250gb hard drive
    Windows Server 2003 R2 (32bit)
    Unlimited bandwidth @ 100mbps

    Old Download Server:
    Intel Celeron 220 @ 1.20ghz
    1gb ram
    250gb hard drive
    Windows Server 2003 R2 (32bit)
    Unlimited bandwidth @ 100mbps

Downtime should be over now. Hopefully everything is working as expected.
